Trisha King, Chairperson

Director – Mainline Sheetmetals Limited

In 1987, Graeme and I began Mainline Sheetmetals with two employees. Twenty years on, we employ a team of 16 people of which 5 are working through their apprenticeships in light fabrication.

In 2004, I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies at Waikato University. This course of study was challenging and provided me with a better understanding of the business processes that are necessary to stay competitive.

I believe in promoting the trade sector as an excellent career path for young people to follow. The opportunities are endless.

WECA has brought the engineering industry together so that resources and capabilities can be better utilized.

I look forward to contributing to the future of engineering through WECA
